I wanted to take just a quick little minute here to say thank you to all of my family and friends who have helped demolish, scrape, improve, paint and install stuff. That’s right, thank you for the muscle, the smashing of sledge hammers through walls and the pry-bars used to pull up all of my old hardwood floor. I couldn’t have done it without you!
I had help from so many people, ranging in age from 5 years old to 60 years old!
So many hands jumping in to remove hardwood floors, rip out cabinets, change outlets, cut 2X4’s, remove wallpaper, paint and put together closet shelves.
The muscle aches from hours and hours and hours of scraping popcorn ceiling were too many and to severe to recount.
The quick turnaround on things when something major was found and had to be dealt with immediately.
The giving up of fun in order to help me out with small mundane tasks when there were cartoons to be watched.
The tackling of messy projects that caused minor injuries like cut thumbs or bruises without complaint and a smile to go with it.
The dragging in of your friends who didn’t even know me just to come over and help with the heavier jobs.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know I still have a long way to go, but this would have taken so much longer without you guys and I’m so blessed to have you in my life.
